The Chooks have taken over...

The chooks have invaded my craft room, well an ATC version of them has. The July free swap at westfield which is in a couple of hours theme this month was 'Australian Saying/Phrase'. I chose: I hope your chooks turn into emus and kick your dunny down! It's a little difficult to read on the transparency film and more difficult to get a good shot of it with the shine. I was trying to work out how I was going to put a hole in it so that the chooks head was more visible when it occurred to me that it was plastic. So I sliced random slashes about where the chooks head was, held it over a lighter and watched it melt back into curls. Had to be quick thou as it really did burn very quickly. I stapled it onto the cardstock and decorated (if you could call it that) the back with chook shit. Ok it was paint but it looked very effective and I had heaps of fun putting this ATC together.
