Above is the card opened up and the flower clusters are on the opposite side to the flowers that are on the outside. The flat section of each flap is where it is tucked into the flap before it to create the cone effect. I was lucky to recieve a collection of already cut out leaves and they all come in very handy when putting this project together. Sorry I don't know the names of the punches but I do know that I will be trying to get some of these are they look great. I did draw in the vains on the leaves to give them a little touch of glitter.
One of my favourite sayings is 'that there are no mistakes only creative challenges' and it couldn't have been truer when it comes to me trying to sew. What was suppose to be a neat stitching around the copic coloured digital called 'Coffee Baata' didn't end up like that. The machine tore the paper or perhaps it was the fact that I couldn't sew straight and ran off the edge and then it made a big knot. I think that my cover up with the zig zagging worked out in my favour and created an interesting bottom. The digital was then glued to the light blue tissue paper.
There is a little lace tag sewn onto the bottom of the main image that when lifted reveals the sentiment underneath. With the number of friends that I have made online this one seemed perfect to give to my online friend for her birthday. I wonder how long it will take to get to England?

Oh my heavens Vickie this card is absolutely positively stunning!! The inside of your card is as amazing as the outside. Your friend is going to be so excited to receive this beauty. Your attention to every little details shows how much love and thought went into it. And that fabulous image is so perfect for sending to a dear friend. Nothing like getting together for a cuppa and a chat hey? And if you wouldn't have said anything about your "mistake" I would have never noticed *chuckling*. Did you find this type of card as a tutorial or did you come up with this yourself. I would love to be able to try making one.

This masterpiece is just gorgeous!!! The Petaloo flowers are amazing the way you colored them and including them on each layer just sets everything off. I have several of these fold up cards in my stash, you have my brain spinning (very slow - but it is going in that direction) on the endless possibilities that can be done. Thank you so much for sharing!!! Again, WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
