Easter Bunnies card for family

An Easter card that I created for a couple of my children and the grandbabies for this upcoming Easter. I used my new digital 'Easter Bunnies' and took advantage of the coloured topper that is included with the set. I simply added a drop shadow behind the bunnies, moved them a little closer together so that I could fit them onto the egg shape. The egg was digitally created, coloured and printed out and was a breeze to cut out (considering my eye sight is still not the best). The lace hid any imperfections *Smiles*. As the bunnies appear to be looking up at something the little silver butterfly was added as a focus point for them. A small arrangement of flowers was added to the card in the same colours as the clothing of the bunnies. Finished of with a simple bow and the pearls in the corners.
The inside is fairly plain but I followed through with the egg design. I did have fun using the warp tool to alter the text to wrap around the egg. I dropped the same green shadow behind the text and used the same pattern as the egg on cover to fill the text. Hint: I only brought a meter of the blue ribbon and was able to create 2 cards with it. I did this by not wasting it behind parts of the card that were to be covered up with another layer. For example behind the eggs on the cover and inside it is actually 2 smaller pieces with only a tiny bit under the eggs, not a complete strip. Considering the cards would take up 4 x 15cm strips and I made 4 bows, if you do the math and not waste, it is possible. I even had 5cm to spare. *Smiles*

Details:
Kaisercraft - Paper, Reminiscing P200 Recollect
Portacraft - Self Adhesive pearls 5mm
Punch Bunch - Ash Leaf small
Die-namics - Leafy Flourish small
My Stash - Lace, Ribbon

Angel card

The very generous Shelly has supplied us with this gorgeous Angel digital stamp and sentiment for this round of the NEW CDAC Progressive FREEBIE Challenge. I had lots of fun making this birthday card, as I got to play with all the new dies and make some pretty paper flowers. I'm not happy with how bright the skin of the angel is as I'm a little rusty with the copic colouring and feel that it should have been tones lighter. Next time.
It maybe a little difficult to read the verse inside the card as I printed it out on paper that had a glossy texture to it and the ink seemed to bead. As I was going for a vintage feel, I let it be and thought it added character.

Card Details:
Stamp and Sentiment - Shelly's Images
Kaisercraft - Paper (Sweet Nothing Collection) and Ink (Vintage)
Die-namics - Leafy Florish Small, Flower Trio and Leaf Trio, Mini Royal Roses
Copics - E 000, 01, 84, 95   YR 24, 31   R 02, 22   B 000, 00, 93    G  43
The rest of the embellishments from my stash.

Challenges I am entering this Angel Card into are:

Christmas Freebie

Christmas time would have to be my all time favourite time of the year. I adore looking at the shops with their Christmas decorations, the houses along the streets all lit up with lights, the special yummies that are reserved for this special occasion and of course the getting together of family and friends. I'm a little behind in my own Christmas preparations, so I hope you are doing better than I am. I've just posted a little word art freebie on my facebook page, so if you'd like to pop over and grab it, please do. Find it Here!! This word art may come in handy for the challenge that is over at Lady Anne's.
I hope to be able to bring you a little something each day up until Christmas, so please be sure to keep your eye out. Until tomorrow.

Below is the card that I created for a good friends 21st Birthday. The digital "Bicycle" is a new design that will be available in store very soon. (I just have to get my head around the html coding again as I am very rusty). The image is coloured in with copics, the black lace doily was created using ‘Multi-Shaper’ by allDeco Punch, the numbers, rose flower and leaves were cut with dies and the papers and flowers were all from my stash.
