Digital Stamp Bird Cage Roses card
Introducing my new digital stamp called 'Bird Cage Roses' that will be available in my store soon. For now if your quick you'll be able to pick it up for free in the current round of the progressive challenges at Crafters Digital Arts Center. Details below. I designed this digital for my eldest daughter which adores all thing shabby chic. It was a little tricky to create the card without her seeing, but she took off early on the morning of her birthday and I was able to put it together before she returned.
The image was coloured with copic pens. I used a mask to create the white scroll in the background and sponged over it with lolly pink stamping ink. I also added the same sponging to one corner of the main image so that the stick on 'Happy Birthday' would stand out. The doily under the pretty little flower arrangement was lightly stained as well. I made a little stick pin for her and the butterfly was silver but I used a yellow/gold copic pen to give it the appearance of gold. Worked really well. The finishing touches are the simple bow with the long ends and the little group of pearls in 2 of the corners.
Digital Stamp Bird Cage Roses inside card
The inside was keep very simple with the paper I used doing most of the work for me. After scanning the front image I used it again inside on the side of the card where I placed a birthday verse.

Thanks for looking and don't forget to pick up the digital stamp 'Bird Cage Roses' and while your there join my own forum / group and if you going to check out the blog hop you'll want to join in Digital Stamps 4 Joys forum / group as well.

Say it with flowers New Digital

Here’s my second design for the new digistamp drawing challenge at CDAC. Priscilla asked us to think outside the box and this is what I came up with. Many of us will never see the spectacular colours that can be found growing in the biggest garden on earth, so I thought I'd bring just a small section to the surface. I hope you'll enjoy my 'Coral Garden' and I was thinking that even the guys could appreciate this digital stamp. Let your imagination run free with what colours you choose.

The theme for March is "Say it with flowers" and include a sentiment. I have to admit that it did take me sometime to find a sentiment for this one but after I found it, I couldn't have been more pleased. I hope you'll agree!

Digital drawing challenge Gumnuts

Here’s my first design for the new digistamp drawing challenge at CDAC. I've no idea how many times I've painted gumnuts in flower over the years and I thought it about time that I shared one as a digital stamp. The digital gumnut stamp set that will be available in store soon, includes 3 slightly different gumnut digitals, an oval frame with gumnuts blank and with the senitment already in place and lastly a precoloured blank oval.

The theme for March is "Say it with flowers" and include a sentiment.

Nana Vic's Spring Cleaning

I've entered the above card for Angie's June Sketch challenge over at Scrap.N.Art. I couldn't get seeing the sketch as anything but a window, so I went with that and used my new digi 'Nana Vic's Spring Cleaning'. If only my own windows were that clean.

Excitement at a high level...

I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of my first digi done by another creative artist and I am so proud to present the card above made by Carol West (Ganny) from Craftin Granny's Card Shack. It is like watching a baby take her first steps if that’s at all possible to make the comparison. I was humbled when Carol responded to my email to her. There are so many great sites out there, all with amazingly talented artists/crafters as owners. However, it was Carol’s warm felt creations that won me over and I’ve been following her blog site closely for a month, almost storking each of her posts to admire her wonderful artwork.

I had no idea how to approach another artist to ask them for their help, so my first email to Carol was pretty raw and nervously sent. I didn’t really expect a reply (finger crossed) and I was thrilled to bits when I received Carol’s return email that was busting with excitement. It's one thing to be excited about a project that your doing but to have someone else join in your adventure was more than I had hoped for.

I can’t express my gratitude to Carol for creating this stunning card using my digi ‘Nana Vic Cowgirl’ and would like you all to please visit Craftin Granny's Card Shack to view more of her beautiful creations. Granny enters her cards into many online challenges and I was suprised to see that she entered this one over at ABC Design Blog. *Smiles*

My very public personal thank you Carol for not only making my day but also helping to bring ‘Nana Vic Cowgirl’ to life in living colour and reality.

You will find my Digis for sale in the 'Shopping' link at the top of this page or you can just click Here

Digi Number 2 'Nana Vic Spring Cleaning'

With the release of my first digi 'Nana Vic Cowgirl' only a couple of days ago I am proud to follow her up with my second digi called 'Nana Vic Spring Cleaning'. I'm going to have lots of fun colouring her myself as she is my main focus for this month free ATC swap at our Westfield Group. Our theme is Apron and I'm told that we have a full group of 16 ladies partaking in the round. I can't wait to see what the other ladies come up with for this month. I've managed to get a sneak peek at a few of them already from the ladies that are so organized with their challenges and I must say it's going to be FUN FUN FUN. I walk away from the group this month with 15 small pieces of their artworks and the very best part is that we all do it for FREE. If you haven't tried making your own ATC's before let me assure you that in each one your create you will be happy to part with it. The person recieving your ATC will treasure it and you will in return recieve a small part of them to  keep as a momento.

I so hope that you will enjoy my range of 'Nana Vic' and she will find a place in your hearts. If you create something using 'Nana Vic Spring Cleaning' or 'Nana Vic Cowgirl' please leave me a comment and link as to where I might find your creation. It would be my pleasure to add your link.

Nana Vic's images are hand drawn and then digital cleaned by the Artist (Vickie Duffill). Each design brings it own special charm. They are perfect resizable images for card making, scrap booking and colouring your way for that special occassion or layout.

Nana Vic's Digital Stamp Cowgirl

I'm so excited not only is today my Birthday but I'm putting up the first of my new range of digital stamps. I've been inspired by all the wonderful work that I've been viewing over the past few months. I have 6 more drawings that are all at differnt stages of development to be apart of this line. I was going to wait until I had them all completed and release them all at the same time but my own unwillingness to wait got the better of me.

I so hope that you will enjoy my range of 'Nana Vic' and she will find a place in your hearts. If you create something using 'Nana Vic Cowgirl' please leave me a comment and link as to where I might find your creation. It would be my pleasure to add your link.
