Carol's done it again

Above is the wonderful creation by Carol from Craftin Granny using my 3rd digi 'Tadpole Hunting' Totally gorgeous and the papers are stunning and perfectly coordinate with her colouring. Carol lists more detail about the papers and the extras that she used over at her site. So please pop over and pay her a visit. I know that she loves comments and all her creations are beautiful. I believe that Carol by producing her awesome cards for me is a walking Angel. A huge and most grateful thankyou to you Carol for believing in me and your continued support.

Creating these digis is a new direction for me and I wasn't even sure if anyone would like them, let alone purchase them to use in their own creations. I am pleased to say that they have been recieved with great encouragement and the comments that I have recieved have proved to me that there is a market for my line. It is because of your feed back that I will be continueing and hope to have more available real soon.

I've had a great day as I watched my two little grandchildren so that my daughter could go with her friends up to the Brisbane 'Scrapbooking' expo. I didn't do it on my own thou as I also had one of my oldest friends visit me for the day. Esther is just visiting Australia to catch up with her sons and to meet her newest grandchild. So with endless cups of tea, we watched the children and caught up on gossip. You know you have a true friend when even with years between visits it feels like only yesterday that you last chatted. I had to giggle when at about 4 o'clock she was congratulating us on the fact that we managed 6 hrs already and both kids were still fine. I must admit that I'm glad that I can't turn back time, I've know idea how I managed bringing up my own children....I was pleased to see their parents return so I could hand them back.

My daughter didn't come back from the expo empty handed, she picked herself up some nice scrapbooking supplies and I was over the moon that she brought me a happy day present. 2 copic ciao markers, now I have 4 colours and the blender. It's a start and now I can at least see/feel the difference between the ciao and the sketch copic markers. With the little tests that I've done with them, I can't really see the differnce. So if there are any copic uses out there that can explain for me, I would be most grateful. As I'm saving to buy my first set of 72 and there is a huge difference in the price, I'd like to know which to buy.

Hope that your all having a great weekend.

  3. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Yes, I love visitors and comments and I adore your images. Can't wait to get the next one!
So glad you had time to spend with family and friends. It's a much needed break for you. As for Ciao vs. Sketch. I like the sketch better because the ink seems to last longer. The sets are great but if I were going to order that many at once, I'd pick out at least 3 in the color families that you'll use the most. Watch some of Suzanne Dean's videos on You Tube and you'll see what I mean. She has great tutorials! You don't need to give up your coloring style either, but it will show you how and what colors to blend. There is also a color chart there.
Off to craft somemore today. Hot and humid with severe storms headed our way.
