Gotta like getting mail when it's contains wonderful gifts. My beautiful sister send me a handmade card with paper twilling on it for my birthday. This is a new crafting adventure for her and I can't imagine how long it would have taken her to put together the bouquet of pretty paper flowers for me. The tiny red roses and buds are my favourite and the card has an owl on it, of course. I wasn't sure what the pink case with the cute little owl on it was but my daughter informed me it was for my mobile phone. OK so maybe I'll learn how to charge it and use it. The last little card came from my Goddaughter, Lacey and she's put together the most cutest of them all owl made out of layers of felt and the owl's eyes just crack me up. Thank you all, I'll treasure them and add them to the collection of over 400 other owls I have. One is never enough when it comes to owls.
My two neices have jumped on the band wagon of creating ATC's and they have joined in the fun of this months theme 'Apron'. They don't make for the whole group just special ones for their family. Lacey aged 9 has made the felt apon drying on the clothes line between two stamped trees and Emily's apon is about to eat chocolate cake..Yum!! Thank you girls. I can't wait for the group to see my sisters creation this month and I won't spoil it for them by posting it here but I will hint that I'm not to sure about the little boy that is tied up in the background yelling 'Mum' is all about...LOL. I will post the collection of the swap next week.
I'm hoping to have a very creative weekend but right now it's time to get ready for Bingo and afterwards it's coffee at Lisa K's scrap night.
Thx sis, Glad you like them. The girls love to make you your atc's. The little boy is spose to give the idea of tied to mum apron strings(why I used string) and not ribbon for the apron. Oh well lets see if any other ladies get the saying.You all make me cry, I wanna go to bingo with you and coffee at lisa's. BOOHOO!!
