Hello All!!!What a busy weekend... I finished 2 more digitals to add to the shopping page. They are not Nana Vic as I thought it was about time for something different. Both new digis feature 2 little feathered friends, one they are hanging out at their bird houses and the other is them playing in a grapevine wreath. They both come with a free sheet of word art. Above is a little plaque I made using the 'Tweet Wreath' digi for the challenges they are having over at CDAC's this week. Thank goodness Lisa K. decided to have a scrap afternoon at her place and I was able to take a break from the comp, make the hanging plaque and actually talk to real people.
I spent the afternoon with a wonderful group of scrapbookers, heaps of cups of tea, yummies and conversations. Topics range from the lastest trends in paper and style, who's doing what, who's in what comp, and for goodness sake they want one of the upcoming ATC challenges to be themed 'poo' yep you read that right. A scream a minute as that discussion brought out some very twisted ideas. I've heard about stepping outside your comfort box but I think this one maybe taking it too far. The saddest part of it all is that I already know what I'm going to do if this theme gets through. *Laughs*
My Sunday has been a day for catching up with my CDAC group, so many talented people sharing their awesome creations. The tutorials are so helpful and there's even a discussion thread where you can request digis. Ever wanted something and not been able to find it, well now with over 50 digital artists all on one site and the request a digi, you might be lucky enough to have that digi. There's never been any harm in asking. My little group has over 100 members now and it's so great to see what everyone is up to. More are always welcome to join, so if you'd like to be inspired or just leave comments on the wall, come join me over at CDAC. You can pick up so many free digitals offered every day.
Art has always been a major part of my life. I supported my 5 beautiful children through my arts and crafts for 15 years. My children are my greatest joy and now I'm a proud Nana to 8 amazing grandchildren.
