Magic of Digital

I just wanted to share with you all the magic of digital. I think that by now most of you would have guessed that I'm not much of a real life card maker or even a scapbooker but I have used images forever. I used to create my own magnets, hanging plaques and heaps of little odds and ends to sell at the markets. I still use Paint Shop Pro (version 9) and I've dabbled in a couple of the other graphics programs but I keep coming back to this one as it's the one I'm most comfortable with.

Ok I'm starting to rant. Here is the card before I printed it out and added the real life stuff. You'll see a huge difference in quality between the two of them. I find I lose it when I'm trying to take a photo of it to put back up here.

Here's the finished card. I printed it out a little smaller than 6"x6", tattered the edge of it, Cut out the little nestable with the duck on it, Added the 4 strings to the ribbon, Cut out the botton section of the wing, Pop Dotted the nestable back onto card and lastly added the lasso around Alex's name and looped under the wing. I am entering this card for both the sketch and colour challenges currently being held at CDAC.
