I made this card for someone very special who's mother-in-law has very resently passed away and I'll be sending it to her in South Africa. I've used my newest digital 'Sundays Hat' and the free word art that goes with that digital.
The card is made from cardstock and one piece of it is embossed with the embossing folder 'Texile' which also had a thin layer of distress ink added to define the raised sections. Behind the transparent sentiment and along the left side I used a gold metal sheet of paper that I distressed the edges of and inked with Tim Holtz walnut stain. With the edge of my sissors I distressed the edges and stratched the design paper to create a well worn look on the block behind the front digital. (Fold paper over the edge of a table to create the cross hatching effect). Finishing touches include, ribbon, dimontis, cardboard swirls (happy day present sent with my 3 new copic pens from Zoe) and the little angel (stolen from my daughters stash).
The list of copics used:
Leaves: YG03, YG06, YG017, YG9, Y13
Flowers: E000, R20, R22, R24, R81, R83
Bible: N0, N2, N4, Y13, Y17, R24, R29, E41
Stand: Yoo, Y13, Y17, Y28, YR24
Hat: E13, E17, E19, 37, E000, R22, R24, R29, YG6, YG97
